Triad Area's 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off

Triad Area's 2nd Annual Chili Cook Off

Think your chili recipe has what it takes to quell the heat of competition? Or maybe your best dessert is the sweetest in town? Now's your chance to prove it to the whole area!

At the next Triad Area's October meeting, we'll be holding our second annual Chili Cook Off. Come put your cooking, baking, and tasting skills to the test. Whether you're a kitchen novice or a seasoned pro, bring your favorite recipe to the table; no matter if it's white chicken chili or meaty and full of beans—we want to taste it all!

There will be a competition for the best chili and the best dessert, and you can enter either, both, or nothing at all. You are also welcome to bring an appetizer to share if you don't have chili or a dessert. There is no cost to enter and no charge for eating and voting. We want you to come and have fun with your Porsche club friends!

We'll have plenty of extension cords and outlets, so please bring your Crock Pots-don't forget serving utensils, as well! The club will provide bowls, plates, napkins, plastic ware, cups, chili toppings and water to drink (fire extinguishers will be at the ready!). Please bring your own preferred beverage other than water.

We'll begin checking in the chili and dessert entries at 5:30.

Eating and judging, conducted by all attendees, will begin at about 6:00.

At the end, votes will be tallied faster than a GT4 RS and a $50 gift card will be awarded to the Best Chili and $25 for second best. The Best Dessert earns $25.

We'll see you on Tuesday, October 20th at Royal Gait Farm, 6495 Kennedy Road, in Trinity for what will surely be an evening of fun, great company, and a little friendly rivalry.

PCA.....now it's not just the cars and the people, it's the delicious food too!
